Devotional on our Redeeming Creator

Redeeming Creator LORD Jesus, YOU are good, great, and full of grace. Hear now my cry!

Lam 1:16 "For these things I weep; My eyes run down with water; Because far from me is a comforter, One who restores my soul. My children are desolate Because the enemy has prevailed."

Why great LORD of light does it seems that the darkness is greater than the light? Why does death seems stronger than life? Despair deeper than hope? Insanity ruling instead of sanity? Can chaos be beaten?

I have suffered so many losses. Why are victories few and defeats many?

Help me merciful Redeeming High Priest of heaven!

[Lam 3:22-24 NASB] 22 The LORD'S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. 24 "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I have hope in Him."

Help me to trust YOU in the darkness of this day. Help me to find YOU as my hope. Help me believe that all things are working out for good.

Stop the flood of death, destruction, and decay! Demonstrate YOUR power to save now! Heal the hurting hearts today! Heal the broken homes today! Comfort the grieving today! Act now! Save us or we will perish! Destroy the darkness and crush the head of chaos! Demonstrate YOUR gospel victory! Come now!

[Hab 3:16-19 NASB] 16 I heard and my inward parts trembled, At the sound my lips quivered. Decay enters my bones, And in my place I tremble. Because I must wait quietly for the day of distress, ….. 17 Though the fig tree should not blossom And there be no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive should fail And the fields produce no food, Though the flock should be cut off from the fold And there be no cattle in the stalls, 18 Yet I will exult in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. 19 The Lord GOD is my strength, And He has made my feet like hinds' feet, And makes me walk on my high places. For the choir director, on my stringed instruments.

Great Redeeming Creator LORD Jesus; YOU are worthy of trust and being seen as good, great, and full of grace. Thank YOU LORD for being YOU. Amen
